Thanks Court:)

Here are a couple pictures of Cohen's super cool b-day shirt that Courtney made, check out her blog: KalicoCrafts she does great work and will customize anything you want:)  He wouldn't exactly hold still to get a good back shot, but the back says COHEN!

Someone was ready to PARTY!!!!

2 months and counting....

Two months and counting until Dece & Jeremy's wedding!!!  I have my dress, my flip flops for the reception, the ceremony music picked out and musicians hired, my hair appointment, have been tanning, running and counting too many calories.  The shower is planned and invites are out (she picture, didn't Amber do a nice job?) and the bachelorette party is being planned right now.  I don't think I will make my goal of losing 20 more lbs. but we will see what we can do.
Did I mention there is only 5 more days of classes until I am a free woman????

Father's Day

Hmmm.. Father's Day, not the best weekend to have it, can someone work on that?  This weekend was my last weekend of homework (oh yeah... last weekend.. wooohooooo.)  So, sorry Chad and Dad, not the best celebration.
Where to start?  First I want to say how proud I am of my Dad.  Long story short, he has been dry for 2 1/2 years, it has taken a lot of determination, but he is completely a different person now.  I am SO happy that this is the man my children call Papa.  I love you Dad:)
Now on to the man my children call Daddy (or Chad just to make him mad:))  What an amazing father you are, you have well surpassed my expectations for you, you amaze me on a daily basis.  My boys are so lucky to have you in their lives.  I am sorry that you have been nearly a single dad for the past year, but good news, 5 more days and you can be married again.  I love you! ~Kimberly

Killian's 1/2 Birthday

Yep, 5 and 1/2... its a big deal in case you didn't know.  We let Killian pick to have anything he wanted for dinner that day (June 6th) and he chose grilled cheese and chips... great... With some salesman tactics Daddy convinced him that Grady's pizza was SO much more yummy... so we loaded up the car and off we went, cheese balls, pizza, soda and ice cream later we were wiped out.  Here are some pictures from our adventure.

Wiiiiii

Isn't this what your house looks like on weekends?

Summer Has Begun...

Well, we are into summer mode here at the Boyd house, which as usual means pure chaos....  My classes will be done in two weeks and I cannot wait to have more time to hang out with the boys, lots of fun in the sun and laying around watching movies are in my plans.
Chad and Killian made a trip up to Chi-Town a few weeks ago with our neighbors and friends Tyler and Jackson Weaver, here is a cute pic of Killian at Wrigley!

Being Patient...

Ok, we know I am not the best at this virtue, but this is a great little blog post about it; maybe it will help me (or maybe you need it today?)

Telethon - Sunday

Hello everyone, I have decided to set out of my box a little bit, this Sunday I am helping to fundraise for the Children's Miracle Network, in support of the Children's Hospital of Illinois.  I have started with a fairly low goal (this being my first year...) of $250 surely you can spare just a couple dollars right?  You have a few options, you can donate online via my personal site (it tracks my donations:)) http://my.e2rm.com/personalPage.aspx?SID=2631540 or you can call me on Sunday during the telethon, my time is 12-1 p.m. and my direct number is 309-663-6216 OR you can call/email me directly and I can fill out a donation form prior to the event.
Please consider helping, Chad and I are so fortunate to have two happy healthy children, not everyone is so blessed, consider that, and consider making a small donation.  Thanks in advance! Love ~ Kimberly
